Reporting a counterfeit
If a card or certificate cannot be verified, it can be reported.
A serial that fails to resolve against the registry, or a card presented without a matching entry, may indicate a counterfeit. A custodian, a retailer or a maison can report it. Reports are recorded against the maison concerned and reviewed with them.
SerialProof does not adjudicate ownership or authenticity disputes. It records what the registry holds and flags what does not match.
To report, contact the issuing maison, or write to report@serialproof.ch.
