The standard we certify

An entry certifies one thing: that a watch was registered, once, and recorded independently of the parties who might later trade it.

The registry does not appraise, value or grade. Its authority rests on independence – it holds no commercial interest in the watches it records – and on permanence: an entry is written once and maintained thereafter.

Two bases of identity

A maison registers on whichever basis its watches allow.

Serial. The watch carries its own individual number. The record binds to that number, and the piece can be identified without its certificate.

Reference. The watch carries a model reference shared across a series. Each activation still creates an individual record – its own Certificate ID, registration date, guarantee and service history. The physical certificate is the key to it.

Both are registered on the same terms. Neither is the lesser entry.

Admission

Open to independent watchmakers and established maisons that issue their watches with a bound serial and accept the terms on which the registry keeps the record.
